Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and medical history collection accurately.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures as directed.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and EKGs according to protocols.
- Maintain strict infection control and HIPAA compliance standards.
- Handle patient inquiries and coordinate appointments efficiently.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- 1+ years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred.
- Strong computer literacy and EMR experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
