Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign checks and patient preparation for examinations
- Assist physicians during clinical procedures and treatments
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Conduct basic laboratory tests and phlebotomy services
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Ensure examination rooms are fully stocked and sanitized
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- Availability for all weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or similar)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
