Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and prepare patients for examination.
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures.
- Manage administrative duties including scheduling, patient registration, and insurance verification.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient flow.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- BLS/CPR certification mandatory.
- Strong computer skills and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule.
