Responsibilities

  • Patient Care: Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during clinical visits to ensure smooth operations.
  • Vitals & Tests: Accurately measure and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature) and perform EKGs and basic laboratory tests.
  • Administrative Support: Manage patient records, update electronic health records (EHR), and schedule appointments efficiently.
  • Medication Support: Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
  • Communication: Interact professionally with patients and families, answering questions and providing clear instructions.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) is preferred.
  • Licensure: BLS (Basic Life Support) and/or Phlebotomy certification required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or medical office setting is highly desirable.
