Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories.
- Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare samples for analysis.
- Manage patient scheduling, confirm appointments, and handle front-desk administrative duties.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records in the EMR system.
- Administer injections and medications as directed by physicians.
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and sanitized.
Qualifications
- Certification as a CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) is highly preferred.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Strong proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and computer systems.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient comfort and privacy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
