Responsibilities
- Prepare examination rooms, sterilize equipment, and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.
- Greet patients, verify demographic and insurance information, and update patient records in the EHR system.
- Accurately measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight.
- Assist providers during patient examinations and procedures, including phlebotomy and minor surgical assistance.
- Provide patient education on preventative care and treatment plans.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage appointment scheduling efficiently.
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
- Excellent communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- CPR and BLS certification is mandatory.
