Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Greet patients, verify demographics, and prepare them for examinations.
- Clinical Support: Assist providers with procedures, administer injections, and take vitals.
- Administrative Duties: Manage medical records, schedule appointments, and handle billing inquiries.
- Lab Work: Perform basic lab tests and prepare specimens for analysis.
- Communication: Clearly explain treatment plans and medication instructions to patients.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
- Certifications: Current BLS and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- License: Must possess a valid Indiana Medical Assistant license.
