Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and health histories accurately and efficiently.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians, strictly following safety protocols.
- Maintain and update patient medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Coordinate laboratory tests and referrals, ensuring timely communication with patients.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification as a CMA, RMA, or NCMA preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Strong computer proficiency with EHR software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work night shifts with a positive, patient-centered attitude.
