Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and health history assessments during the night shift.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with clinical procedures and examinations.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by providers and verify patient allergies.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during late-night hours.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond promptly to patient calls and inquiries in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare overnight shift supplies and ensure medical equipment is operational.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (evenings and overnights).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) software.
