Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab procedures
- Assist with patient examinations and minor surgical procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Coordinate patient flow between departments during night shift
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
- Manage inventory and sterilization of medical equipment
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Flexibility to cover rotating night shifts
