Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration monitoring.
- Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient examinations and clinical procedures.
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms to ensure a sterile and safe environment.
- Manage patient records, including updating Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately and confidentially.
- Greet patients warmly and direct them to appropriate departments efficiently.
- Assist with basic laboratory duties, such as drawing blood and performing point-of-care testing.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent (e.g., RMA, NCMA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
