Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and prepare patients for examinations.
- Assist providers during procedures and exams with accuracy and efficiency.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff to ensure a positive patient experience.
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
