Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Administer injections, vaccinations, and medications under provider supervision
- Perform EKGs, vital sign monitoring, and point-of-care testing
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Electronic health record (EHR) documentation and patient data entry
- Schedule patient appointments and handle administrative tasks
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in a medical setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/EMR preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Washington State Medical Assistant certification
- Background check and drug screen required
