Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations, including vital signs and medical history documentation
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and diagnostic testing
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure clinic efficiency during weekend shifts
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory management
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Colorado Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows
- Ability to multitask in high-volume weekend environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with documentation and compliance protocols
