- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Reconcile accounts receivable and patient statements
- Collaborate with clinical staff for accurate documentation
- Utilize Epic EMR and practice management systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
- Strong knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid guidelines
- Experience with denial resolution and appeals
- Advanced proficiency in medical billing software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
