Responsibilities
- Submit clean claims to insurance companies and follow up on outstanding accounts
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits coverage
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes for medical procedures
- Resolve claim denials and billing discrepancies
- Maintain accurate patient billing records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding account balances

Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
