Responsibilities
- Assess patient symptoms via phone and digital triage tools
- Prioritize emergency cases using standardized protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and emergency departments
- Document patient encounters in Epic EHR systems
- Provide health education to callers
- Participate in quarterly trauma simulations
Qualifications
- Active NJ RN license (or compact state)
- 1+ years ER or urgent care experience
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts
- EMR/EHR proficiency
- Spanish bilingual preferred
