Responsibilities
- Accurately code medical services using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS systems
- Submit clean claims to insurance payers and resolve claim denials
- Manage patient billing inquiries and payment plans
- Perform accounts receivable follow-up and aging analysis
- Ensure HIPAA compliance in all billing processes
- Collaborate with clinical staff for charge documentation accuracy
- Generate monthly financial reports for revenue cycle review
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification required
