- Accurately code and submit medical claims using ICD-10 and CPT guidelines
- Verify insurance coverage and patient eligibility for procedures
- Manage accounts receivable and resolve claim denials efficiently
- Communicate with insurance companies and patients regarding billing inquiries
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Generate monthly reports on revenue cycle performance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in a healthcare setting
- Certification (CPC, COC, or CCS) preferred
- Proficiency in Epic, Medisoft, or similar billing software
- Strong knowledge of insurance billing processes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
