Responsibilities
- Process insurance claims and patient billing using Epic EMR systems
- Verify eligibility and coverage details for patients across 200+ insurance providers
- Resolve billing discrepancies through direct communication with patients and insurers
- Maintain accurate patient records in HIPAA-compliant databases
- Generate monthly reports for departmental performance analysis
- Collaborate with coding team to ensure CPT/ICD-10 accuracy
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
