- Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and coverage
- Resolve claim denials and payment discrepancies
- Maintain accurate patient billing records
- Communicate with providers and insurance payers
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and billing regulations
Qualifications
- 2+ years medical billing experience
- Proficiency in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Familiarity with billing software (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Certification (CPC, COC) preferred
