Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral imaging with precision
- Maintain sterile equipment and OSHA-compliant infection control protocols
- Manage patient flow and documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for diverse dental procedures
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Coordinate inventory management for dental supplies and pharmaceuticals
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and dental imaging software
- CPR/BLS certification with current renewal date
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA and dental office protocols
