Responsibilities
- Process and submit clean claims to insurance carriers with 95%+ accuracy
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits prior to service delivery
- Resolve claim denials and appeals within 48 hours
- Reconcile EOBs and patient statements monthly
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols for all patient data
- Collaborate with clinical teams to document services accurately
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience in physician practice
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) credential required
- Expertise in CPT/HCPCS and ICD-10 coding
- Proficiency in Epic or NextGen EHR systems
- Strong knowledge of Kansas Medicaid/Medicare regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
