Responsibilities
- Accurately code and submit medical claims for reimbursement
- Verify insurance eligibility and coverage benefits
- Resolve claim denials and appeals efficiently
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure documentation accuracy
- Generate monthly reports on revenue cycle metrics
- Utilize Epic and EHR systems for billing operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of medical billing experience required
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT)
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
