Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, medical history, and treatment plans accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare team members.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas.
- CPR (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred for new hires.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
