Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate, and report any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital protocols.
- Document patient medical histories, care plans, and progress notes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment in patient rooms and treatment areas.
Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN) within the last 12 months.
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional, but preferred for facility rotation).
