Responsibilities
- Provide specialized cardiac ICU nursing care for post-op and critical patients
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety protocols
- Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data and vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in EMR systems
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 3+ years ICU experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (must maintain current)
- Minimum 2 years ICU/cardiac nursing experience
- Strong proficiency in cardiac monitoring equipment
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in high-pressure environment
- EMR experience (Epic preferred)
