Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments under physician supervision
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during procedures
- Perform vital signs and EKG monitoring
- Maintain accurate patient records and electronic health documentation
- Coordinate with nursing staff for patient care continuity
- Assist in emergency response protocols during overnight shifts
- Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced healthcare setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking skills
