Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient flow and ensure comfortable waiting areas
- Record patient information and update digital health records
- Provide post-operative care instructions and answer patient questions
- Coordinate with insurance companies and billing department
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Willingness to complete state-mandated radiology certification
- Positive attitude and commitment to patient care
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
