Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs, medication schedules, and report any changes in health status to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients to reduce isolation and improve mental well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning, to maintain a safe living environment.
- Transport clients to medical appointments, social activities, and errands.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Willingness to complete our paid caregiver training program. (No prior experience required).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
