Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist clients with mobility, transferring, and walking using proper techniques.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in health to the supervisor.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and assist with errands.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry specific to the client's care.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (training available if needed).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
