Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently under pharmacist supervision
- Manage inventory and maintain pharmacy records with precision
- Assist in compounding sterile and non-sterile preparations
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling
- Process insurance claims and third-party reimbursements
- Adhere to strict HIPAA compliance and safety protocols
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior pharmacy experience necessary – training provided
- Strong attention to detail and mathematical aptitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid Tennessee driver's license (if required for deliveries)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn pharmacy software
- Commitment to completing the full 12-week training program
