Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages with precision and care.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory analysis while strictly adhering to safety and quality control protocols.
- Verify patient identities and accurately enter specimen data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Assist patients during the procedure to minimize anxiety and ensure a comfortable experience.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required (Paid Training included).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Clean background check and drug screening required.
