Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary to ensure proper nutrition.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce isolation and improve quality of life.
- Monitor client health and report any changes in condition, mood, or behavior to the nursing team.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks related to client care.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or PCA certification is highly preferred but not mandatory for all roles.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation are required.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to all company policies and safety protocols.
