Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management as directed by supervisors.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with light housekeeping and laundry to ensure a safe environment.
- Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations and recreational activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's physical or mental condition to the care team.
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities as needed.
- Document daily care activities and updates in electronic health records accurately.
Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous experience as a caregiver, CNA, or Home Health Aide preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Compassionate, patient, and person-centered attitude.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or holidays as required.
