Responsibilities
- Perform venipunctures and capillary draws on patients of all ages with precision and minimal discomfort.
- Verify patient identity and prepare requisition forms according to laboratory protocols.
- Label, store, and transport specimens to the laboratory for processing accurately and timely.
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control standards at all times.
- Assist with patient intake, vitals monitoring, and general clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Current Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if required.
