What You Will Do:
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Prepare and fill prescription orders accurately according to legal and company standards.
- Verify patient information, insurance details, and medication orders for errors.
- Assist pharmacists with compounding and dispensing medications.
- Manage inventory levels, including receiving shipments and restocking shelves.
- Provide exceptional customer service and answer patient inquiries regarding medications.
- Process returns, exchanges, and voids according to protocol.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required.
- Active state pharmacy technician license in Missouri.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and knowledge of pharmacy software systems.
