Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary restrictions.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with light medication management.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments, social events, and recreational outings.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and vacuuming.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to reduce isolation and loneliness.
- Document care activities and communicate changes in client condition to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal vehicle.
- Current CNA, PCA, or Home Health Aide certification is highly preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
