Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care according to established nursing standards and hospital protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress, documenting all observations accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized patient care plans.
- Respond immediately to emergency situations, critical care needs, and code blue alerts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care or medical-surgical nursing experience.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
