Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare and serve meals while ensuring dietary requirements are met.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls and injuries.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA license issued by the State of Texas.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
