Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning to ensure comfort
- Support daily living activities while respecting patient dignity
- Collaborate with RNs and healthcare team to develop care plans
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments and equipment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Colorado CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for diverse populations
- Attention to detail with accurate charting and documentation
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
