Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, fluid intake/output, and resident conditions
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques
- Administer medications and treatments under RN supervision
- Document care accurately and timely in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment
Qualifications
- Current Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience in senior care
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Compassionate approach with geriatric populations
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Successful background check and drug screening
