Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure patient safety and prevent falls.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in accordance with safety protocols.
- Follow all infection control and HIPAA regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license in North Carolina.
- CPR/BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
