Responsibilities
- Patient Assistance: Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Health Monitoring: Accurately monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Communication: Report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Environment: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
- Emotional Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork and charts accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- License: Current, unencumbered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Arizona.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification required.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care or medical setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Physical: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently throughout the shift.
