Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and health changes
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Ensure patient comfort through positioning, repositioning, and emotional support
- Transport patients safely between departments and assist with treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate care updates to nursing staff
- Adhere to HIPAA protocols and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital or acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
