Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take dental X-rays and maintain accurate patient records
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies
- Provide chairside assistance during complex procedures
- Deliver post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with front office staff on patient flow
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or RDA license (AZ)
- 1+ years of clinical dental experience
- Proficiency in digital X-ray systems (Dexis/Sirona)
- CPR/BLS certification
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work 20-30 hours/week (weekend availability required)
