Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for patient procedures.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and treatments with 4-handed dentistry.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) accurately and efficiently.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain strict sterilization and infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
