Responsibilities
- Process and submit insurance claims with precision using Epic and NextGen systems
- Verify patient eligibility and benefits for optimal reimbursement
- Resolve claim denials and appeals through meticulous documentation
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and payer regulations
- Generate and analyze billing reports for financial accuracy
- Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure coding accuracy
- Update patient records with billing and insurance information
Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical billing experience in a clinical setting
- Certified Professional Biller (CPB) or CPC certification preferred
- Proficiency in medical coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS)
- Strong knowledge of insurance claim processes and regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems (Epic preferred)
