Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision
- Verify prescription details, dosages, and potential interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service and medication counseling to patients
- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory management systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve medication inquiries
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety protocols
- Assist in training new pharmacy staff members
Qualifications
- Active Virginia Pharmacy Technician license required
- Minimum 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Certification (PTCB) highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication handling

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
