Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized patient care based on the needs of the patient and hospital policies.
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical exams and complete medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
- Document patient care services in medical records accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a plus.
